Professor Robbins of the law depart
ment has promised to make a state
ment in full of the progress, equipment
and aim of this year's work in the Ju
nior and) Senior law courses.
Thedepartment of geology has Just
received from Charles W. Hargitt of
Syracuse University, a set of twelve
lantern slides recently taken by him
around Vesuvius, showing condition of
eruptions, kinds of lava, etc.
Last Saturday the department of
geology escorted a party of twenty-five
city teachers to the exposures around
Lincoln. As the carryall passed
the T street school the children precip
itated a shower of fruits upon the wor
thy school tecchers.
Mr. Lane has made arrangements
with Mayer Bros., whereby the men's
gymnasium uniforms may be secured
through them at the same reduced rates
as previously quoted in the Nebraskan.
Students hereafter will have all meas
urements taken at their store. No more
will be taken at the physical director's
