the city Saturday, en route to Chicago,
where Mr. Scofleld expects to enter
Rush Medical College.
Professor E. W. Hunt, who was con
nected with the English department of
the university from "87 to '83, is at
present engaged In stock raising and
farming at Syracuse, Neb.
Minnie Guile will attend the univer
sity while retaining her position In
Crete, where she has classes in phy
sical training. She will be in Crete
Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Captain 8moke, commandant of the
cadets last year, is at present teach
ing military tactics at Yale. This
work is without the actual field work
as given in the university. Mr. Smoke
has the reputation of being one of
the most popular commanders the uni
versity has ever had. He preferred
the eastern work, however, to the west.
