Change in Schedule.
The hours of meeting for the new
courso In argumentative composition,
(English language Nos. 11 and 12),
which Prof. Fogg Is offering this year,
have been changed, it was originally
set for 9 o'clock on Tuesday and Thurs
day, but that hour shut out the mem
bers of the Junior law class, of which
a considerable number wished to take
to prepare themselves for the courses
In debate next semester and next year
(The new regulation makes No. 11, at
least, a prerequisite for students who
wish to begin debate next fall.) The
only available hour for the class to
meet, the English department finds, is
from 9:30 to 10:30 on Tuesday and
Thursday. Dean Reese and Professor
Robblns lecture to tho junior law stu
dents from 8 to 9:30 dally. The class
will meet regularly until about the
first of" December, when the lectures
will end. After that the students'
work will be wholly written and In
struction will be given individually.

Young Women.
The first meeting of the Young
Women's Christian Association will be
held Sunday afternoon, September
20th. at 4 o'clock. Mrs. F. M. Hall,
chairman of the state committee, will
speak on the subject: "Put First
Things First." Vocal solo by Miss Hur
rus. All women are cordially invited
to be present.
The new course in forestry is attract
ing considerable attention. A number
of advanced students in other courses
aro planning to change over to the new
course so as to obtain the forestry de
gree sooner.
Young Women Intending to take up
some line of Bible or mission study
should look over the courses offered
by the Y-. W. C. A. Information re
garding these courses can be obtained
at any time at tho association room.
During registration week informa
tion In regard to rooms and board can
not be obtained In the registrar's of
fice, but in the Y. M. C. A. rooms. A
public telephone Is stationed there.
