Miss Edith A. Erford, a graduate of
the I'nlversity of Nebraska, and Mr.
George M Campbell were married
Wednesday afternoeyt at the home of
the bride's parents, 2315 C) street. I)r

The home had been beautifully dec
orated for the occasion with palms and
ferns. Two sisters of the groom and
ten of the Q. A. T. girls were in the
chain of attendant girls.
After the ceremony Miss Charle)tte
Hullhors sang "(), Promise Me." About
seventy-five guests were present at the
wedding and reception which followed
Refreshments were served at which the
Q. A. T. gills assisted. Mr. and Mrs
Campbell left for their home in Sew
ard where they will go to housekeeping
at once.
KAPPA BANQUET.
The Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority
celebrated its annual banquet at the
Liue-oln Monday evening. The ordi
nary was the scene of the festivities.
Forty-five covers were laid for the as
sembled gin sts. The room was dec
orated in the fraternity pe-nants of
light and dark blue. The table was
decorated in greenery and red roses,
together with (lowers sent as gifts.
The time was passed with fraternity
songs and an excellent toaHt list.
Miss May Whiting presided as toast
mistress. The following responeled to
toasts: Miss Olive Slates, Nellie
Griggs, Blanche Hargreaves, Gere and
Mrs. Lew Marshall. Six members were
present from out of tewn. Mrs.
Smoke was a guest of the evening.
But two members of the senior class
were honored by elee-tion to the Sigma
XI fraternity this year. They are P.
J. O'Gara and John Fossler. They
have won this recognition by doing
original se-ientlfle work in the depart
ment of botany.
Mr. A. A. Miller, who graduated from
the E. E. department in 1898, Is in the
city. Mr. Miller Is in the employ of
the Westinghouse Electric & Manufac
turing company in the sales depart
ment, and at present is located in tho
state of Washington.
