union of All Souls' church will give a
party next Saturday night. May 3, In

during the evening a short program
will be given, followed later by a sup

other, and all students interested, or
friends of those interested, are wel
come. R. C. Roper will speak at the young
people's meeting of All Souls' church.

Tho Freshman and Sophomore base

Russeil Harris left Wednesday to
take his physical examination at Fort
Leavenworth, Kan., as alternate to
West Point.
Judge 'Frost, an alumnus, has been
in consultation with the secretary of
the alumni association In regard to the
Alumni day program for this year.
Mr. Barrett. Mr. Sheldon and Profes
sor Caldwell went to Nebraska City
yesterday to attend the funeral of J.
Sterling Morton, who was president of
the Historical society.
James Bell's picture will appear In
the Olympic Magazine. This maga
zine, which has been recently started,
contains news of all amateur athletic
sports west of Chicago.
Vernon C. Batle, who has been ab
sent from the university for some time
while in the qmploy of the govern
ment, returned yesterday to resume
his work in the senior class.
The Hempel collection of early Ne
braska relics and Indian curios from
Plattsmouth has been received by Mr.
Blackman for, t-ie Historical society
and will be installed in a few days.
