Ttie state covention of tho Young Men's Chrisitan Association of Ne braska opened its sessions last night at Yurie and will continue until Sunday night. Ttiis by far Is tho most important event in tho Associa tion stato Interests and is always largely attended. As it includes both city and collego associations the latter are represented by delegates from the colleges In Ne braska. These men prove, as a rule a good preeeniago of those in atten dance. Special college subjects aro dealt with which aie always of ex treme interest to those whose lives are engaged In study. By this means also, tho dllTeront institutions of learning in tho stato arc brought doner together and come in contact more, with their varying interests. Owing to pressure of school work It is rather dillicult for tho students to take advantage of such opportnui tles. Most of the leased quarters, howoTer, are not suited to club purposes. Sev eral of tn e fraternities may build as soon as the terms of present leases expire.
