The High hchool scrubs defeated tho team in a practice- game last Monday by a score or f to 0. This gamo merely showed the weak points In tho team, and these have been filled by nettor men. The team work Is good on offensive work, but the dcrcnslve needs strengthening oefore the class games are played. IMcKle at tho left guard is the heaviest man on tho team. lie plays sub center, on tho 'varsity and Is looked unrn as "prodiiry" In footoall circles. Ho hails from Ashland and is known by the boys undor the familiar title or "llaby Hlcklo." Frag In is an experienced man In the line. Ho lias played center and tfiiard on tho scrubs for two years. Ho Is slated for right guard. McDonald, quarterback. Is a Lin coln iiiRh school boy. lie has a good leg for punting and is a fast snappy man. He plays quarterback for the scrubs. Carney at center, played several years on the Sutton high school team. Ho lias plenty weight and ex perience for the position. McShane loTt end, Is an ex-Omaha high school player. He Is effective in breaking up interference aud usually gets his man. Captain Havens played on tho South Oman j high school team sev eral years. At quarter back ho Is sure in passing the ball.
