owing to tho muddy condition or the
grouur s tho finals were postponed

There wore some good exhibitions
of tennis in the games Friday. Rrad
shaw and liaird played a fast and
fierce game. They both played a back
court gamo, but frequently took to
the net. Thoy are both safo and suro
players. When tho play was called on
account of darkness each one had set
to his credit. They will finish the
contest today.
Roth and Petorson also played a
good game. Roth beat Tynor by
scores of 0-1, km and 7-5; Tho-game-
was a rast ono though the scores do
