ANNOUNCEMENT.
The publishers of THE CONSERVATIVE take pleasure in auuouuciug , to its increasing number of patrons , that the
third volume of the paper will bo completed with the issue of Jiily 4th , 1901.
Wo take pleasure in making this announcement , because the volume closes with a larger number of boua-fide sub
scribers than wo have ever before had upon our mailing lists.
* The expiration of volume 0110 witnessed THE CONSERVATIVE firmly established. With the commencement of volume
three our patronage had increased over 100 per cent. , and wo have more than doubled our list of readers with the close of
this , our most successful year.
Wo now are pleased to inform our friends that the ensuing year will find THE CONSERVATIVE still occupying the
same position upon economic questions and still advocating honesty in all departments of public life.
The reading public are informed that volume four will contain many now and highly interesting features.
For the month of July wo will introduce a symposium upon the subject : "What Are the Young Man's Chances ? "

The symposium not only promises to be of great interest to readers of THE CONSERVATIVE , biit is undoubtedly one of
the ablest presentations of a subject of this character over attempted by any publication.
It is an indication of the kind of matter that will be served to our patrons , which , together with Mr. Morton's
original and entertaining editorials will make-up one of the foremost periodicals of the year. We invite the co-operation of
