stipulations provided by law for ths location

for the location of a public road 48 feet in
width, commencing at the northwest corner
of the northeast quarter of section 9 town l

section line to a point on said section line to

mittee on roads and bridges would recom
mend that the' prayer of the petitioners be
granted and the clerk of 'this board directed
to proceed in accordance with law.

The communication of Adam Korus where
in he requests that a bridge be built this fall
on the recently established road in Burrows
township, commencing at the northwest cor
ner of section 15 and running thence south on
section line one milo, was on recommendation
of the committee on roads and bridges re-
fern-d to the Burrows township board, for the
reason that there are no available funds in
the.apportlonment of the county road and
bridge fund belonging to Burrows township.
attorney C. J. Garlow now addressed the
board of supervisors on behalf of George
Henggeler, relative to the petition of Franz
Luchslnger and others for the alteration of
part of the school section 'road In Bismark
township, at the conclusion of which it was
moved by supervisor Clother that a com
mittee of three be appointed to investigate
the matter and report th-lr findings at the
next session of the board. Motion carried
and chair appointed as such co jimittee super
visors Priest. Newman and Held.
On recommendation of the committee on
supplies and public property the request of
County Superintendent Leavy to permit him
to occupy the room made vacant by the
County Judge's removal from the court house
was granted.
The claim of the Universal adding Machine
Company $350.00 less 3 perc nt discount leav
ing a balance of $339.50 for the purchase of
the adding machlns on trial in county treas
urer's office was now presented.
Moved by supeulsor Held that the bill of
the Universal Adding Machine Company be
allowed and the clerk be directed to issue
warrant in the sum of $339.50 in payment of
same on county general fund.
Roll called for vote.
Suprs. Goeix. Held, sewman. Priest and
Schuru voting 'Yes"..... 5.
Supr. Clother and Chairman Swanson voting-No"
2.
Motion declared carried.
Moved by supervisor Newman that the
county clexk be directed to notify the Bur
rouglis Adding Machine Company to remove
their machines now on trial in county clerk'
office at once. Motion carried'.
On motion of supervisor Newman the pur
chasing agent was instructed to purchase a
new stove for the us; of the county clerk's
office or if he deems it advisable to have the
old stove repaired.

rants in payment of same on the county gen
