The Columbus camp' is not as 6trong in numbers as it should be and overyono who is eligible to membership iB urged to attend the meeting and enroll his name among the active members. The Columbus ciuip has been signally honored by the election of Bert Galley to the office of grand commander of the state, and with 'ho prestige which this gives the local camp the membership should be promptly mado as large as any in the state. The members of tho Orr hens Society know how to have a good time. They never fail. They more than lived up t't that reputation last Monday night at their mask ball. The hall was crowded with the families of members and their gnests. Tho music was grand and the costumes of the maskers rang ed from tho grotesque to the artistic. More than a hundred people weie masked and more than twice that number were happy spectators. There were good things to eat and drink somewhere in the region of the stage but the crowd was so large that the more timid individuals hail to be con tent with tho stories about the good tilings.
