BANKRUPTCY PROCEEDINGS COTINUED. The Bankrapccy pro ceedings bezun yesterday afternoon before August Wagner, referee in bank ruptcy, will be continued in Albion Friday of nest week. J. Finecy and Mr. Heinemeyer of Sliver Creek retarned yesterday from a risiz to Pennsylvania. They remained here until today with relatives. Mr. Finecy had not been back to his home far forty years and his visit was a surprise to his aged mother. RUN AWAY The team of horses belonging to Otto Henning, Ave miles northeast of town, decided they did not want to wait far their driver, so started to run down Eleventh street at neon tcday, while Mr. Henning was attending to business affairs in one of tne stores. They ran as far as E. von Bergen's residence when they were stopped, after ""ffg themselves in the lines. Mr. Henning had purchased a hog the day before, aad had the inima! loaded in the wagon. At live o'clock, tables were spread, throughout the guest rooms and a two-coarse lunch eon, dainty in quality and generous in quantity, was served by the Misses Galley, Sheldon, Martha Post, Freda Pest, Parker and Whitmoyer. The entertainment was elaborate and per fect in appointment, and the enjoy ment of the guests was ministered to in every way by the popular hostesses. Fancy work, social talk and music occupied the attention of the large company until they dispersed at six o'clock. Will Castatt. The authorities of the state nniver aity of Lincoln have received word from Sc Louis that Nebraska's exhibit at the World's Fair has been awarded a number of prizes.
