Avery pitiable case of youthful de
pravity came to light yesterday, says a
Lincoln paper, by the arrest of Charles
Wilson, a boy of HI who--e parents live
about a mile west of Hawthorne. A
complaint was filed iu the county court
by .lames W. Masters, a resident of
Hawthorne, who accuses the Wilson
boy of assaulting and committing rape
upon his 0-year-old daughter. The
crime is said to have been committed
the first time on January IS. and sev
eral times since but was not discovered
until recently as the boy threatened to
kill Madge in ease she should divulge
the slate of affairs.
Governor Crounse has made another
sippointment by naming Colonel James
D. liago of Frankln as adjutant gen
eral. Colonel Gage served in the re'
bellion as second lieutenant in company

alry, and was private secretary to Con
