William Vl/.zard stepped off the train from St , Kdwards only to fall dead u few yards from the depot , lie leaves two BOIIH and two daughters. Thomas Vlzzard lives nt St. Kdwards. Mrs. Cecil Conip- ton , a sister , also lives there , while Mrs. Amos Gill , another sister , lives nt lloyburn , Ida. Anuothor brother has not yet been located. The other throe wore in the city for the Inquest. When William Vlzzard left St. Edwards - wards Monday morning ho had a stop watch and considerable money with him. Dr. Dunn , who made a post mortem examination , said that Vizard caino to his death from tuberculosis of but tbrco months standing , resulting in a Bovoro hemorrhage. John Williams , living southwest of hero , who recently received some very bad injuries by falling from .a wagon , is reported as gaining very nicely at this writing. Smith and expects to have n sale and move to Winnotoon at as early a date as possible. Joseph Ulsh went to Norfolk Thurs day for a visit at the homo of his son , O. W. Hlsh and family. A. Hanson , living northwest of here , recently purchased the Sorenaon farm , three and one-half miles southwest of town for $90 per aero. While returning homo after marketing a quantity of grain , W. II , Lllllo , a prom inent farmer of Jerauld county , had an interesting experience with a holdup man who , In his way , was one of the most modest of holdup men. It was dark when Llllio started homo with the proceeds from the grain carefully tucked in his inside pocket. At the darkest and most lonely point on the road the holdup man suddenly sprang from n place of concealment and seiz ed the bridles of Lilllo's horses. The animals wcro brought to a full stop and the holdup man started toward the wagon , with the demand that Llllie band over to him one-half the cash re ceived in payment for the grain. Why ho did not demand the whole of It Is n mystery. Lllllo. as soon as ho noted that the holdup man had released his hold of the horses , suddenly slashed them with the whip. The animals , smarting under the sting of the whip , sprang forward and , after a hard run , Llllie succeeded in making his escape from the would-be robber.
