The worst floods that have been Known In this section of the state for twenty-eight years , swept through the country following the toi- rifle heavy rain that dropped between Tuesday night and last evening. As a result of the rush of waters , a largo number of country bridges are te- ported to have been washed out com pletely , the mill dam at Madison Is destroyed and fences are stiovvn fiom ono end of the county to another.
