13,000 Bags So Far.
Having now run for just nlneteon
days straight , the knives have sliced
up 0,500 tons of the agricultural pro
duct , and from this just UI.OOO bags
of granulated whiteness have been
ground.
Dcets Testing Well.
The beets this year , despite the
Hummer which was unfavorable for
farming In many ways , nro testing
well. They are averaging about 1-1
per cent In sugar , practically the same
as that of hint year.
The campaign , according to the
present outlook , will last about as
long as that , of a year ago , running
Into the end of the year.

week to Inspect the sections covered
by the service with a view to alter
ing the plans In some respects , has re
turned to Omaha after driving over
routes No. 1 ! and No.I , Mr. Fngor
ton found on route No. 1 that there
was In one place an Impassable road
and the direction of the carrier mny
possibly be altered so that ho shall
escape this.
"There will bo no change , " said Mr.
Fngorton , "so far as the patrons are
concerned and no one who Is now
getting tlio service will bo cut off. "
Mr. Fngorton found that the great
majority of farmers appreciate the
service and there wore several who
