Visit to the PolTco Judge.
Levl Eddy was once more up in pohco
court this morning on the charge of
drunkenness. Ho was arrested in Norfolk -
folk avonno late yesterday afternoon aud
nearly had to bo carried , by two police-
men , to the jail.
This , morning Lovl was quite sober
and walked into the court room yery
steadily. When ho took his chair ,
Judge Hayes looked at him a moment
and then said , "Well , Lovl , drunk
again 1" Without changing the ex
pression on his face , Eddy straightened
upaudroplk'd , "Mo too , Judge ; mo too. "
Lovl has recently boon moro trouble
some than usual aud has become abusive ,
so the judge decided to give him a little
extra nnd made it $10 nnd costs , the
prisoner to a'and committed until flue
aud costs are paid.
