Roy Randall and wife of Wood Lake visited over Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Randall. Gertrude Quigley gave a skating party Friday night to twenty members of the Presbyterian choir. Mr. and Mrs. James P. Heelan were Valentine visitors Saturday and remained over to attend Mass Sunday. There will be no examinations for teachers' certificates in Decem ber , as only two applications ere received at Lincoln and it requires five to get a special list printed. At a meeting of the Degree of Honor lodge Monday night the following officers were elected : Mrs. M. Christensen , C. ofH. ; Mrs. Estell Eaton , L. of H. ; Mrs. J. G. Brown , C. of C. ; Mrs. Dora Rice , Recording Financier ; Mrs Nettie Hunter , Receiver. About twenty-five little folks en joyed Saturday afternoon at the home of Almira Bachelor , the oc casion being her sixth birthday. Mr. Bachelor took all the children for a ride in his auto and they were more than delighted. Almi ra received many nice present ? .
