Frank Cashell. deceased.
On reading the petition of Gee Capler ,

court on the 12th day of April. 1911. and
purporting to be the last will and testament
of the saia deceased , may be proved and al

testament of said deceased ; that said instru

Bruce H. Hewett as administrator with will

Word from Blanche Deloney
brings sad nevr.s to her friends
and those of her mother. Just
after their arrival at their home
Mrs. Deloney was taken seriously
ill. We all wish her a speedy re
covery.
Dr. Tische was called to attend
Mr. Carter at his home near Red
Deer. He has been quite ill for
some time and was in a critical
condition Monday night , but is
somewhat improved.
Viva Kennedy is improving and
hopes to be soon up and around.
Mrs. W. V. Johnson was quite
ill last week but is able to be up
again.
Lou Cote , Sam McLain and
Jim lung of the Brownlee coun
try were business callers Monday.
Pleasant Valley News.
News reaches us that Albert
Lolzien died in Canada last Thurs
day at the age of IS .years. In
company with his father and uncle
Wm. Body they here four weeks
ago. Albert took cold which de
veloped into .measles and- then
settled on his lungs. Albert was
born on Goose creek and was re
spected by all who knew him. The
body will be brought home for
burial , ,
J. M. Uehling visited his sister ,
Mrs. C. T. Miller , Saturday.
Mesdames Albert and Otto
Schleuter and family spent Friday
with Mr. and C. T. Miller , the oc
casion being wedding anniversary
of the last named.
Theo. Hoefs and son have start
ed their press drill to working.
The dance at Haymakers was a
decided success.
Peter Howard of Goose creek
died at the age of 78 years. He
suffered a stroke of paralysis two
weeks ago which probably hasten
ed his death.
Mr. Miller has been papering
and decorating Theo. Heofs' house.
C. h. . Butterfield is building a
new house for Harry Kellar.
Col. Tilly of near Brownlee will
open a general merchandise store
in the merchandise store in the-
new hall buiding about May 1st.
Bernie Tinkham visited with
his sister , Mrs. Otto Schleuter.

Arthur and Trwin Adamson ,
Benjamin and Mildred Barnes are
on the sick list this week.
Cyrus Wolfenden wended his
way towards Cody on Thursday
of last week.
Commissioners Adamson and
Rowley were in this vicinity rec
ently appraising the school sec
tions.
Ernest and Wilber Kirk have
begun to farm in earnest now.
The rain which fell so gently
all day Sunday was certainly a
welcome visitor in this neighbor
hood as quite a number of the
ranchers are farming. *
Mrs. J. A. Adamson and daugh
ter Alice visited at the home of
D. A. Adamson last week.
Walter Jacquins is fencing his
homestead.
Mark Chubb of Bailey was in
this vicinity last week.

bner for a few. days last Friday
morning to look after the interest
of some of his horses which he still
has here and to visit old friends
whom are glad to see him again.
Miss Julia Allen returned from
Rapid City last week where she
has been visiting friends and rela
tions the past two weeks.
The dance at the hall Friday
night which was given by the lad
ies of the Royal Neighbors was a
marked success but owing to the
stormy weather and other attrac
tion the crowd was not as large as
usual.
Miss Jeanie Case finished a suc
cessful term of school last Friday
and departed the same evening
for her home at Gordon.
Arthur Bowring boarded the
east bound train Saturday evening.
Rev. B Hunt went to Eli last
week to look after the interest of
his ranch.
The surprise party at Grant
Bixler last Friday was by those
present entered among their list
of pleasures not to be forgotten ,
the Rose being the most popular
flower that evening.
Mrs Wm. Crane and son Marvin
were Gordon visitors last week.
Miss Mamie Newman spent Sat
urday and Sunday at Valentine.
Last Friday evening the home
of Seth Gerry was destroyed by
fire.The cause is unknow but it is
thought it was struck by light
ning.
Wm. Slade was in town Tues
day. Ah , Will , is it not hard to
say good bye.
Joy Fairhead is home from Lin
coln where has been attending
school.
Miss Anna Thornquist who has
been visiting her sister Alice re
turned home Tuesday.
Hazel Na.ylor and Grace Jones
are on the sick list.
Jack Savage and wife returned
to Kilgore Tuesday after spending
a few weeks at W. R. White's.
S. E. Fink is preparing to move
back to the ranch. *
Mrs. Herman Harder spent a
few days in Gordon last week.
The result of Herman's baching
was that he went up to Gordon
Sunday and brought her back.

Mr. ' Bain has just completed
his new modern house and barn.
Mr. Clasky has been hauling
lumber for his new house.
Mrs. Dorothy Alexander pre
sented the Sunday school with an
organ when she moved away this
spring.
Sorry to hear of the death of
Rev. Horner who spoke at our
school house once last summer.
Mr. Gilkerson and wife are
working for Dan Hill.
