Klingaman returned to her home in Chadron Monday night. She came down Friday night to attend the Latta- Klinga- man wedding. One of the finest dances given in Wood Lake was the Woodmen dance Friday night. A laige crowd attended and all had a splendid time. Anothe dance will be given the fifteenth and one every two weeks hereafter. . . . Mr. Hammond , of O' , eill ] , was here Saturday , as ihe guest of Miss Lottie Grady. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Reece , were in town Monday. They are . rather un- 'fortunate about their home school. Miss : Cora Thackery , who has been teaching there is out canvassing for county superintendent Miss Ealya , has promised to teach a month for them , but she intends going to Sioux City , to attend school. This is a splendid school and if any teacher is idle she will do well to secure this schooll. Mrs. Edytbe Latta was absent from school Monday , she was in at- tendance at her brother's wedding. Miss Chloe Waggoner taught the intermediate grades. ] Mr. and Mrs. : Klingaman , left Moaday for Omaha , where they will attend the Ak-Sar-Ben , and from thsre they will go to Iowa , they ex pect to be gone about two week5 They will reside on their horaestead , where Roy has a neat little home prepared for his bride. . ; Miss Nellie Easley , from Ains- worth , , came up for the dance Friday , and was the guest of Miss Chloe tip' ' aogoner Joe Waggoner , left Sunday night for York , Neb. , where he will attend school the coming year. Margaret : , the youngest daughter of Andrew Johnson and wife is quite ill this week. Thelma , their oldest daughter was sick last week , but is again able to be in school. We hope little Margaret will soon , recover. The Royal Neighbors , of Woo - lake , entertained their husbancls and sweethearts on Thursday e -en- ing , Sept. 29lh. A banquet uas served after an entertainment given by the ladies had been brought to a close.
