Valentine , Nebr. , April 25. 1910.
-The board of county commis-
sioners of Cherry county met P er-
suant to the call of the county ;
clerk , ha v..ingbeen called in sessioi
for the purpose of opening bids ;
for the construction of two steel
bridges across the Niobrara river ,

known as the Adamson : and La-
vaca bridges , and for the trans-
action of any other business .of
the county properly presented.
Present : James : Mone , chairman ,
and John A. Adamson.
On consideration of the bids on
file with the county clerk the let-
, ting of the contract was postpones
to April 26.

tract with the Canton Bridge Co.
for the construction of two steel
bridges in Cherry county , ' one
known - as the Adamson bridge ,
located about 12 miles southwest
of Valentine , and the other known ;
as the Lavaca a bridge , located 18
miles southeast of Gordon.
The board , proceeded to * view
the grading and bridge across the
Minnechaduza : near Valentine and
instructed i the road overseer of
district No. 5 , to repair same.
_ The county clerk is instructed
to advertise for bids on a cont"ract
for certain road work to be done
in road district No . G , Crookston
, precinct , according to specifica-
tions to be submitted to bids b.v

The county clerk is instructed
