The agriculture class have com pleted the grading of seed corn . Fifty per cent was allowed for the. ear as a whole , the shape , size , butf , tip and rows each taken into con sideration ; fifty per cent was givei the kernels , the color , shape , in dentation , space , and germ being considered. Averj and Regent Copeland ofthe - state university , in company with Mr Nicholson , last Friday afternoon These gentlemen -spent some time < visiting the various rooms after which the high school met in tin assembly room and listened to ad dresses by Chancellor Avery and Mr. Copeland. The latter spoke < most entertainingly on the possj - bilities.of our section of the state and dwelt on the necessity of edu cation if we would be able to attain the best , even in the agricultura fie3.
