On last Saturday a contract was
entered into whereby C. J. And-
erson sold his interests in the Dia
mond bar ranch to Chas. Haas , of
the firm of Haas & lord I , consist
ing of 4:480 acres of deeded land ' ,
leases on several school sections ,
all cattle and horses , hay tools
wagons , etc , and the hay on the
ranch this year. While many ;
will regret to see Mr. Anderson
retire from this business , yet : we
are fortunate that the purchaser ( is , ;
Mr. Haas. He is probably the
best known and is certainly the
the largest feeder buyer , together
with ! his pardner , that has ever
come to this country. He has
purchased several thousand head
of cattle this season in the vicinity
of Cody , . Merriman and Irwin.
The transfer of the ranch will be
made about the first of the year ,
and we understand Mr. Anderson
intends to move west probably to
