week.

osteopathy in Valentine for the
summer months at least. She

The high wind Wednesday
did considerable damage to wind-
mills and small buildings hfire and
and l there. E. A. McQuade's
windmill south of the depot was
blown to the ground and shattered
the mill and tower. Many shing
les were taken from roofs and old
chimneys were damaged. All
chimneys should be examined and
repaired where cracked or loosen-
ed bricks are found.
Sheriff Rosseter took three
prisoners to Lincoln this week-
Tony Maule to the pen , and Hom-
er Crane and George Loomis to a
hearing before the supreme court
on the question of jurisdiction in
the case of the state of Nebraska
