C. O. Carpenter has finished
painting the inside of Lester
Green's house and Lester has
moved in.
Frank Seager arrived here Mon
day from Louginont , Colo. , and is
visiting friends about town. He
says Cherry county is all right.
George Beers run down from

medicine for his wife who has been
troubled some with rheumatism.
Mrs. M. A. Hooton and Miss
Rosa returned last Friday from
their visit in Indiana. They ex
pect to return soon again to In

Frank Sageser has purchased
the hotel business at Woodlake
from John Eaton. Mr. Sageser
has been running the hotel at
Newport.
The Slayton Jubilee Singers re
ceived a frost here last Saturday
night. There wasn't enough people
ple to pay for the hall , and they
xvere nent back to the box office
and their money returned.

town Monday and called at our
office for a friendly chat. They
say they hear a great deal of
favorable co'mment on W. J. Bryan
for president in their neighbor-

Wm. Tetherow , accompanied by

Mo . came up to our city last
Thursday and called at our office
on business. Dr. Winkler has lo
cated in this county and will prac

gage foreclosure to satisfy a claim

land was bid in bv the mortgagee's
attorney. F. M. Walcottaslo sold
a quarter section near nenzel as
attorney for Thomas Lindberg ,
administrator of the estate of Jos.
