Heyne the first of the week and they were loaded out and sold to John . Shinstok of V. Scribner , Neb. Charley Brown returned to our city yesterday from Missouri and is visiting friends. Charley was here three years ago , working for Mark Cyphers and also worked one winter in a restaurant. J. M. Ralya returned last week from Sioux City , where lie had been in a hospital for a couple of weeks , doctoring for blood pioson- ing which started from a fish bone running under his finger nail last spring and turned into an abcess under the shoulder. E. C. Smith and family of Scotts Huff , Nebr. , A. M , Smith of Chicago , S. D. Smith and wife of Deadwood , Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Simons of Wichita , Kan. , Mr. and Mrs. Marsteller of "Wayne are all in the city , which , together with J. C. Northrop and family , compose a family re-union for Mr. and Mrs. Smith of our city , celebrating their fiftieth wed ding anniversity , Wednesday , October 2 , 1907. This is the first time the family has been together for 22 years nearly a quarter of a century , during which time two brothers and a sister had not met. A sister and brother . met by accident on the train near Fre mont , coming up , when one in quired of the other the time of day which led to further conver sation and they were both going to the same town , which was strange , but stranger to learn that both were going to a family re union of W. R. Smith and wife , which explained it all. The fam ily is so far scattered that this will probably be the last family re-union for Mr. and Mrs. Smith , as both are growing old , but it is a pleasure to see them all together again the children of a happy home.
