The old settlers re-union will be
held at Sparks on Friday and Sat
urday , Sept. 2nd and 3rd. Come
everybody and be showed a good
time once in your life.
There will bo school in district
li this year. This district has
been vacated for several years but
from the looks of- things this neck
of the woods is coming to the front.
A crowd of young fellows that
are prowling around the country
at night and passing along the pub
lic highway past residences where
decent people live will take notice
that something will happen next

One ranch in the hay flats prop
erly named "Bean Ranch" as the
boys while haying , say that they
had three kinds of beans three
times a day for three weeks straight
with a side issue of Missouri hoe-
cake. "Well beys , you'll please
excuse , they are from Missouri
but a long , long ways.
