You can tell pretty much how a gir feels toward you by the way she takes your arm. If she dosen't care a cenl for you , you know it by the indifference of her muscles ; if she has has great confidence in you the pressure tells it J ? riendship is as distinct from love in that mode of expiession as in words and looks. A woman can take the arm of a man she likes very much , with perfect comfort , even if she is six feet high and he is only four ; but even if the two are evenly matched she can make him feel disdain , coniempt dis comfort , dislike and anything she likes by the way she does not hold onto him. Cody , Nebraska. A sad funeral was held Monday , March 10. at the home of .Mr and Mrs. Spencer over the remains of their six teen year old b y who is reported to have committed suicide on the hay Hats 40 miles south of here. He was brought home while still alive , out after four days of much suffering gave up the hard struggle for life. This is the third sad , tragic death and each one sixteen summers old that has visited Cody since last June , but this is by far the saddest of the three. If ever you saw a broken hearted father and mother , it is Sir. and Mrs. Spencer and they have the sincere sympathay of every good father and mother in our little village. May his lips be unsealed to tell the sad story of his death was the cry of every heart in Cody , but our prayer was denied us , and everyone that looked upon that : peaceful , boyish face as it lay in its last sleep , but what wont away with : conviction in his soul that it was not face of crime and perhaps God in his mysterious way may bring to light that wliich now is in darkness.
