is getting along nicely for an old man
and he thinks he will soon be able to
disposeof his. canej as he did with
his crutches one at a time.
John Foster has been ailing for the
past three weeks. He brought a load
of corn up to the mill and taking
down remained in town several da yd
but returned home only to find that
he muat again place himself under
the doctor's care and has been in town
stopping with his brother during the
past week.

The proceeds ol the supper amounted

the church. The many attendants at
the hall pronounced it one or the finest
buildings in Cherry county and a great
convenience for entertainments and so

A jolly hunting party started out
Monday morning for the La < ces tak
ing a load of provisions and ammuni
tion , two spring wagons of men guns
and dogs galore. The party consisted
of VVm. Francke and architect Meis-
nerand a host of other trentlemen
from " Omaha. W. ! ! . AJc'Cloud took
the "load of supplies out for them.
There'll be happy times for them and
the dogs , but Oh the ducks and the
grouse.
