spring term of the district court of thisjpunty con vened here Monday with Judge James J Harrington of ONeill presiding There are 129 civil cases on the docket and for the first time In years there is not a criminal case on the docket The most interesting case for trial is that exf Mr Knight of the National hank of thig place against the Thomp son brothers of Lake Side who are being sued by Mr Knight because I the Thompsons as it is alleged used his name in connection with the Lake Side lottery without his authority It will be remembered that the Thomp sons raffled their ranch which they claimed was worth about 830000 by selling tickets at SI per ticket and represented that the drawing was to j take place under several well known and reliable business men of Alliance After it is said
