Burleigh on Valentine
In Bro Burleighs account of his
recent visit to this city we find the
following paragraphs
To eat or not to eat being decided
in the affirmative by Landlord Dennis
and a table loaded wjta good and ap
petizing things causes us to remark
that in this one instance as a money
making scheme the landlord will
realize that Dennis got left It is
a better place for hungry humanity
than for financial profit for the gra
cious hotel man

A Happy Editor
Bro GA Miles of Ainsworth Home
Rule came up to Valentine Tuesday
eve on a matter of business and the
editor of this journal enjoyed a long
and pleasant visit with him George
is one ot those genial personalities in
whose company one can always spend
an hour or two with profit and on
more than one occasion his mature
judgment his sound advice and his
optimistic views of the future have
materiallv aided us Just now he is
rolling in prospective wealth being
the happy publisher of some 800
worth of legal notices from which
the county will realize several thous
