In writing up the 'Bailey case last
weeic we unintentionally wronged a
prominent-citizen of this county by
saying that he had been subpoenaed
as a witness but had failed to appear.
Investigation shows that Mr. Ladely
was a witness in the preliminary trial
but not in the last one. It is always
onr intention to get the news right ,
but in this case our informant , who is
thoroughly reliable , was mistaken.

Clarence understands music quite
