Shooting at V Produce Now Enongh Revenue to Pay for Their Keeping The state panitentiary has now become self sustaining the receipis being sufficient to keep up the expenses of the institution The reasons for this are that the new con tracts made with the manufacturers for the employment of the men are higher than eer before and many men are being employed in addition to the number stipu lated in the contracts The number now at work is 223 and the contracts run from 85 cents to 50 cents per day for each man Warden Leidigh has expressed his great satisfation at the good condition of affairs
