The Edmund George cattle stealing
case was heard in Judge Townes
court Monday and the defendant was
bound over to the district court in the
sum of 1000 failing to secure which
he was sent to jail and will probably
board with Sheriff Strong until the
spring term of court It seems to be

empty No wonder her peo
ple aie getting tired of this catfle
stealing business and other meanness
It is a matter of dollars and cents to
every taxpayer in the county to see
that itstops To keep this one man
in jail until spring means a big ex
pense for board and guards Here is a
