Yesterday was the last day of the
celebration at Bosebud which com
menceden the fust of the moEth 1800
families of Indians from reservations
other than Eosebud were registered as
visitors making a total of about 8000
persons All together about 15000
Indians and whites were nreseut at
the blowout The exercises consisted
mainly of dances and races aud every
thing passed off smoothly but one ac
cident occurring Tuesday a fac simile
of the Custer massacre was given and
in the melee anIndian policeman was
shot Tuesday afternoon the
ted corn dance was given by special
-permission about 200 of the very best
Indian dancers participating About
50 Valentine people attended the cele
bration n various days

and Brownlee had a few representa
