Prominent Citizens in Town
Alex Burr Wm Pullman Albert
Runner and John M Yaryan ot Buf
falo Lake precinct were in town Tues
day and Wednesday on business be
fore the land office These gentlemen
are some of Cherry countys best citi
zens and it is with regret that we
learn they are in favor of division of
the county While in town they took
occasion to very emphatically state
their views on the result of the recent
bond election and say that the voters
of their locality intend protesting the
issue of the bonds We think how
ever that in more calm moments they
will see the folly of wasting their
energy and money in that manner
Defeat would be the result of their
efforts and besides they would have to
stand their share of the expense oc
casioned the county in defending the
canvassing boards acts The total
cost would be more than several years
interest on the bonds
