bureau Remember the 4th of July celebration fit Valentine Memorial Services The union memorial services of the Odd Fellows Knights of Pythias and Modern Woodmen at the - Methodist church last Sunday were very beauti ful and impresive The members of the orders met at their hall on Main street and marched to the church at 11 a m headed by the 12th Infantry Band and made a fine appearance all being dressed full regalia E J Davenport was master of ceremonies and over a hundred men were in the marching column Arrived at the church the exercises were opened by music by the band Rev Holsclaw delivered the opening prayer and the opening ode of the Odd Fellows lodge was siing by the congregation This was followed by reading of the bible lesson for the day and the band rendered a beautiful selection The sermon by Rev Ram sey followed a song by the choir and was full of good thoughts for not only the members of the various orders who occupied the body of the church but for all the congregation the speaker delivering his talk from the standpoint that Its not all of life to live nor all of death to die and since charity is the foundation of secret orders that formed the major portion oHns theme After singing the closing ode and re ceiving the benediction from Rev Holsclaw the assembly took up the march to the cemetery where a beau tiful decoration ceremony was per formed
