Mrs. Edith Thiele accompanied Mr. and Mrs. John Barkhurst of Nehawka to York Monday. Mr. and Mrs, Ralph Krause of Elm wood attended the wedding of a nephew, Edward Llnhardt Jr. and Jean Ann Witkouskl Sept. 7 at Beatrice, Mr, and Mrs. Henry Starkjohn have closed their summer heme on Bandas Beach, Henntng, Minn., and have returned to Plattsmouth. They spent two months vacationing. Dasher-Gardner Wedding in Oklahoma Miss Carol Lee Dasher and Mr. Ron L. Oardner were mar ried Sept. 8 at Pryor, Okla. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dasher, Platts mouth, and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Oardner, Nemaha. Attendant at the wedding ceremony was Billy L. McChes ney of Independence, Mo. The bride is a 1963 graduate of the Plattsmouth Schools. A suggestion that the City em ploy a Health Officer to oversee enforcement of the Rat Ordi nance Monday night was re ferred by the City Council to Its License and Judiciary Commit tee. Councilman Robert Aspedon suggested that Dutch Elm Dis ease detection might also be handled through such a person .f he were employed.
