Attending from Eagle were Edward Gerhard and son, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gerhard and family, daughters Mr. and Mrs. Dick Norm and family of In dependence, Mo., Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mcintosh and family of Loup City, Mrs. Dale Oberle and family of Lincoln, and Glendon Gerhard, Mrs. Eldee McKay and son Ellis, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gerhard and daughter and fam ily, the Arnold Tampkes and Mr. and Mrs. Orris Lanning and Jerry. From Elmwood, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Bornemeier and family, from Lincoln, Mrs. Mildred Bahr. Claude Gerhard was re-elected president and Mildred Bahr, secretary. The annual reunion In 1964 will be held In the evening. Mrs, Larry Lee Henry Sullivan-Henry Wedding At First United Presbyterian Miss Cheryl Kay Sullivan and Mr. Larry Lee Henry were mar ried July 20 at the First United Presbyterian Church here in an eight o'clock ceremony. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. T. Ralph Sullivan and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Henry, all of Plattsmouth. The Rev. Kenneth Johnson, pastor of Park Forrest Presby terian Church, Omaha, officiat ed at the wedding rites in the presence of 200 guests. Baskets of lav,y?der and white gladiolus decorated the cnurcn altar. Mrs. George Jacobs was or ganist and Albert Wetenkamp was soloist. The bride, given In marriage by her father, chose a floor length gown of imported white chantilly lace, styled with a sculptured bodice and full skirt. Iridescent sequins defined the portrait neckline. A waist length veil of French illusion was held by a jeweled crown of sequins and pearls. She carried a cas cade of lavender pom-poms sur rounding white carnations. , Maid of honor was Miss Jan Ice Hansen, cousin of the bride, of Prairie Village, Kans., attired in a lilac cotton brocade satin frock, bell-shapeci skirt with fitted bodice. With this she wore a matching veil hat, white lace gloves and carried a nosegay of hot pink carnations. Mrs. Tom Sullivan and Mrs. Norman Henry, both of Platts mouth, also were bride's attend ants. They wore gowns ident ical to the maid of honor. The Misses Connie Jo Pfiefer and Virginia Martin were can dlelighters. Sharyln Hild, cou sin of the bride, was flower girl. Norman Henry, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Tom Sullivan, brother of the britie, and Duane Whelan were groomsmen; Ronald Adkins and Fay Smalley ushered. The bride's mother wore a champagne silk shantung dress with beige acc e s s o r i e s. The bridegroom's mother wore sky blue Knit crepe with white ac cessories. Ebersole, sister of the brice, and Mrs. Dick Hart cut the cake; Miss Linda Stones poured coffee; Mrs. Bill Roloff served punch; Misses Connie Diggs, Karyl Davis and Sharen Farris helped with the gifts. For their wedding trip to Colorado Springs, Colo., the bride wore a light navy two piece dress with white acces sories. The bridegroom is a 1959 Plattsmouth High School gra duate; employed at Western Electric at Millard. The bride was graduated from the Plattsmouth Schools in 1982. They will live at 524 North Ninth, Plattsmouth. Joyce Madoerin. Wayne C. Kupke Wed in Omaha MURDOCK (Special) Joyce A. Madoerin of Omaha, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Hershel H. Madoerin, and Wayne C. Kupke, sen of Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Kupke, Louisville, were married Sunday at First Lutheran Church, Omaha. Matron of honor was Mrs. Kenneth Jordlng, the bride's sis ter. Bridesmaids were Marguer ite Madoerin, sister of the bride, and Helen Nielsen and brides matron was Mrs. Elmer Guehl storff, Murdock, sister of the bridegroom. Paul O. Kupke of Kansas City was best man for his brother. Ushers were Kenneth Jording, Wayne Luctchens of Murdock, Edward Woods, Edwin T. Volk, Wilbur Pflueger, Larry Roeber and Elmer Guehlstorff. Mur dock. The couple took a wedding trip to the Ozarks, will live in Omaha. Mrs. Patrick Barrett and chil dren Beth. Shawn, Shelley and Teresa, of Denver, Colo., arrived here Friday morning to spend a week with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. L. A. Amato. The hosts en tertained their daughter and 15 of her classmates at dinner at Winterset Inn Wednesday night. After the dinner hour the men enjoyed a card gime while the ladies conducted their regular meeting. A small amount of useful arti cles were brought to be given to the Cass County School for Re tarded Children. Those attending the picnic were Mr. and. The Sheldon Giles family left for their home Wednesday morn ing. Enroute home they will visit Verna Giles' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Long in Denver. On their return trip they visited Bagnell Dam and Stark Caverns. While on a visit to the Base Post, they spent a few minutes with Lyle Hild who Ls serving two weeks reserve duty. Mcojay afternoon, Thelma Baker returned homo from 10 days in Methodist Hospital where she had major surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Meis lnger, Mrs. Mabel Meisinger and son Phil were hosts at a weiner roast Tuesday night in Mynard. Quests were members of the Junior Legion Midget Baseball Team which Mr. Meis inger coached. Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Norris Hale and P. J. Dingman. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Friend and two children of Everett, Wash., were recent houscguests of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Rozell. Mr. Friend is a nephew of Mr. Rozell. Mr. and Mrs. George Avery and daughters Becky and Betty of Independence, Mo., and Mrs. Elizabeth Avery of 8ioux City, Iowa are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Rozell. Mrs. Avery of Sioux City la the mother of George Avery and Mrs. Rozell. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Meisinger : of Sun City, Ariz., arrived Tucs-i day to spend a few days here ( visiting. They will be guests of brothers and sister, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Meisinger, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Meisinger and Miss Laura Meisinger, also vUiting Mrs. Meisinger 's brother, A. O. Ramge, and friends in Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ake son, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bruns were at Big Lake, Mo. Sunday to attend the Strough Family reunion. A picnic basket dinner was enjoyed at noon. The after noon was spent visiting and tak ing pictures, by the more than forty people attending. Relatives attended from Nebraska. Kan sas, Iowa and Missouri. Enroute home they stopped at Falls City and visited Mr. Rachel 8trough, mother of Mrs. Akeson, who was unable to attend the reunion.
