Cheryl and William are both 1961 grad uates of the Louisville High School. Chervl is emploved as a sec retary at Boy's Town and William is employed with the Asplundh Tree Experts Company. A July 20 wedding is planned. They will be guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schroeder, Mynard and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor, La Tlatte. While here they will at tend the PHS 1953 Class Reunion Saturday night. Mrs. Buelah Schworm, secr etary of Paul Fauquet agent for Farmers Mutual Insurance Com pany, attended a workshop in Lincoln Tuesday of that com pany. While she was busy at the workshop, her son, George Sch worm and Ralph Doud toured the Capitol Building, and sat in on the Legislative Session and toured Morrill Hall. Eagle Sr. MYF Has Picnic EAGLE (Special) The Sr. MYF young folks of Eagle Meth odist Church enjoyed a picnic Sunday evening at Pioneer Park Lincoln. Co-sponsors of the group are Messrs. and Mmes. John Stil well and Verl Flacks, however, the Flack's could not attend the picnic. Mrs. Stilwell and Rev. and Mrs. Drake, were the spon sors for the evening. John Fischer Jesse Wall was released from the hosptial recently and entered Ideal Nursing Home, 27th and VV, Lincoln. Word from Mrs, Bettie Under wood, enjoying a trip to Hawaii: "Visited the Oahu Island, and Mormon Temple, also Pearl Harbor where they viewed the partly emerged 'Sunken Ari zona', during the sight-seeing tour with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Diller Utt of Cali fornia; at Honolulu, Oahu, the temperature and weather, quite warm, and windy." Mrs. Ernest Metzger and two daughters, of Alameda, Calif., are visting her father, Jesse Wall and other relatives for sev eral weeks during her father's illness and convalescence. Mrs. Lance elites Is consider ably improved, and plans to be released from the hospital soon, after several days hospitaliza tion with injuries suffered by a fall in her home, a couple of weeks ago. Springer is a former student pastor of Eagle Methodist Church and served the pastorate at Blair, 1938-39 prior to the California charge. Donna Angelo, David Hermance Wed at Eagle EAGLE (Special i Donna Angelo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Angelo, and David Hermance of Aivo, grandson of Mrs. Nellie Garcia, Alvo, were married Saturday evening at an 8 o'clock formal double riag cere mony at Eagle Immanuel Lu theran Church. The bride's gown was of Alen- con lace with a basque bodice. featured with sabrina neckline of natural scalloped lace, out lined with tiny seed pearls. The sleeve tapered to Bridal points and the gown's skirt of bouffait lace pick-up designed was fast ened with small lace bows and showed a net dust ruffle. The bride's veil was held from a crown of seed pearls and se qultis and her bouquet was baby pink roses daintily arranged on a white Bible. Matron of honor was her sis ter, Mrs. Gilbert Henke of Mil waukee. Maid of honor was her sister, Dorothy Angelo and bridesmaid, a friend of the bride. Miss Nay7 dne Boars of Lhcoin. Best man was the bridegroom's brother, James Hermance of Oreeley. Colo. Ushers were Gilbert Henke, Milwaukee, and John Lemlng, Alvo. Ringbearer and flowergirl were a nephew and niece of the bride groom, Scotty McDonald and Jo Ann Hermance, Greeley. A reception was held in the church parlors following the ceremony. The bride ls a graduate of Eagle Schools and the groom a graduate of Aivo Schools. The couple will live In Lincoln after a wedding trip to Colora do. Both 4re employed at Lin coln. Mrs. Mynard Club Met With Mrs. Cole Mrs. Richard Cole was hostess for a desert luncheon for the June meeting of the Mrs. My nard Extension Club. The lesson, The New Look in Milk was presented by Mrs. Leonard Peterson and Mrs. Tom Grosshans. Charts showing the Import-! ance of milk in the diet were shown also demonstration of foods needed In the diet if milk is not consumed. A recipe exchange followed the lesson. President. Mrs. Clark Wiles, read a 1963 Outlook for family living which told of new food packaging and " new trends in clothing. Mrs. Robert Jacobs was a vis itor at the meeting. Next meeting will be Sept. 10 at the home of Mrs. Clark Wiles. First Lutheran Vacation Bible School Closes Vacation Bible School at First Lutheran Church closed June 28 after two weeks of study. H.O. Schuett, Vacancy Pastor; church with 50 children, five teachers and 10 helpers in at tendance. The classes then di vided and were held In the church and In the home of Irvin Schleip. The Concordia Bible School! material, with the theme, Walk ing with God, was used. Members of the congregation sent cookies and fruit drink which was served during recess. Sunday, June 30, a closing pro gram was held during the Church service at which time the children of the lower classes sang Welcome Little Children and We Are Little Christian Sol diers and the upper classes sang Take My Life and Let it Be Pastor Schuett presented the teachers, helpers and children certificates of attendance. At noon, a congregational pic nic was held. Woman's Club Meets n South Ashland SOUTH ASHLAND (Special) The South Ashland Woman's Club met last week with Mrs. Glen Kcetle. Because of the high water the attendance was small. There were eleven mem bers and a visitor, Mrs. Bud Schuldb, of Florida. Group singlng was enjoyed by all. Mrs. Melvin Sturm, Mrs. John Maack and Mrs. Kcetle served refreshments. No meet ings during the summer. The September meeting will be with Mrs. Bruce SowarcU. After a Fourth of July with friends at Tarklo, Mo., and In Iowa, the Barrs will go to Lib erty, Neb., for a visit with Joe's parents and friends. The Barrs' vacation lasts through the first three weeks of July, so Murray friends and members of Rev. Barr's former pastorate are hoping to see them again. Mr. Barr preached at his church in Pennsylvania Sunday and the family left later In the day, Joe, Elizabeth and Blanche taking turns driving, trnd ar rived in Murray about 2:30 Monday afternoon.
