The lake has been scooped for skating but some persons have chopped holes in it for fishing. The Board asked that no more fishing be done. Water Pressure Increased in South Plattsmouth Water pressure has been in creased ln south Plattsmouth by installation of a booster pump on the Lincoln Avenue main at Bryant Street. C. E. Markham, manager of the Board of Public Works, told the City Council Thursday night that the booster had been in op eration about 10 days and checks of residences showed pressures are adequate. The Board had had requests for a measure to Increase pres sure because of greatly in creased numbers of services in that area. Residents had expressed con cern about fire protection. BIRTHS LOUISVILLE (Special) Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Voigtmann of Louisville are the parents of a daughter born Dec. 22 at St. Marys Hospital in Nebraska City. She weighed seven pounds, four ounces and has been named Elizabeth Ann. Mrs. Voigtmann was the former Judy Miner of Ashland. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Voigtmann of Louisville and Mr. and Mrs. James Miner of Murdock. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Miner of Ashland, George Con ley of Weeping Water and Char les Voigtmann of Jefferson, la. The Voigtmanns have a son, Le Roy Jr., 16 months old. Mr. and Mrs. James Colbert of Louisville are the parents of a daughter born Dec. 21 at Me thodist Hospital in Omaha. She weighed six pounds, nine ounces and has been named Mary Ca mllle.
