"Friends here received word that the Rev. I.C.G. Campbell, Weeping Water, is at Rochester, Minn., for treatment and pos sible surgery. - Mr. and Mrs. John Rippe spent several days visiting their children at Omaha, Auburn and Fremont and relatives at Grand Island, Hebron and Superior. - Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Pointer accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Le Moyne Spohn to Brooklyn, S. D. for Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ward and children. -. Coach and Mrs. Ron Seymore went to Guthrie, Okla., attended the Nebraska game at Norman, and visited his parents over the lioliday. The children Rhonda and Jackie stayed with Mrs. Seymore's parents at Columbus. The November Birthday Birds Club met Tuesday with Mrs. Fritz Rohlfs. The afternoon was spent with contests and games. Lunch was served by the host ess. Mrs. Arnold Stohlman re ceived word of the illness of Rev. N. F. Horn, Arapahoe, who is In a hospital at Cambridge for ob servation. The United Church of Christ had a food shower for their min ister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Burkhart, Sunday carrying out the Thanksgiving theme. The Green Thumbers met to plan their year book last week at the Lerord Haveman home. Other members of the commit tee were Mrs. Harry Brockhoff and Mrs. George Kirchoff. Randy Ruhge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Ruhge cracked a bore in his les when Jumping off a bed last week. He has it in a cast. B Roy Brown, pastor of the First Methodist Church in Oma ha brought the evening mes sage. An offering was taken which will be sent to Church World Service.
