Virgil Miller of Weeping Water and Lyle Beck were Tues day evening callers and Ed Grell was a Wednesday guest. Mrs. John Fusselman entered the Methodist Hospital Saturday for observation and check-up and returned home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schmader visited Mrs. Arnot Cushman at the Methodist Hospital Wednes day evening. Mrs. Irene Shelton of Inde pendence, Mo., sister of Mrs. Chris Murray of Louisville, re cently passed awny at anlnde pendence hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Max Burmelster received word that Mrs. Bur melster's brother-in-law, Homer Spangler, died Oct. 30 in a hos pital in Pocasset, Okla. The Burmelsters left Thursday morning to attend the funeral which was held Friday in Po casset. The Burmeisters expect to return home Sunday or Mon day. Twelve members of the He bekah Lodge of Louisville at tended the Nehawka Lodge meeting Thursday evening. The Nehawka Lodge put on a Cake Walk to raise funds. Mrs. Bill Heier and Mrs. Mil dred Heier attended the Bazaar at the Fontenelle Hotel la Om aha Monday. Alice Massoth spent last Thursday through Sunday with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Colbert and family In Lincoln. Miss Shirley Ross and Ronald Boardman were honored Sunday with a dinner at the Clarence Ross home near Nebraska Ctty. Ormel home, Nebraska City Sunday and called on Lester Shrader, a pneumonia patient at St. Mary's Hospital. Tuesday afternoon Mrs. Murdoch, Mrs. Ella Cook and Mrs. Maude Phil- pct went to Nebraska City. Mrs. Marry Knabe called at the Mur doch home Monday morning.
