THE PLATTSMOUTH, NEBRASKA, SEMI-WEEKLY JOURNAL Thursday, October 18, 1962 City Council Minutes Council Meeting Oct. 8, 1962 City Council met in regular session at 8:00 o'clock P.M., with the following present: Mayor L. W. Moore, Councilmcn Lloyd Morehead, A. W. Huebncr, Ro bert Aspedon, Raymond Fuller, James McMillian, Donald Aylor, C. W. Rhylander, City Clerk Erna M. Yenney. Absent: Coun cilman Elmore Brink. Minutes of the previous meet ing were read and approved. Pursuant to published notice the first order of business was for the completion of the equal izing and adjusting; of special assessments on account of bene fits of construction of street improvements by paving of St. Imp. Dist. No. 159. Frank Rogers was present and objected to the revised schedule of assessments in respect to his property ln Patricia Heights Ad dition. After discussion a re solution was adopted levying as sessments as per revised sche dule submitted. 1 Motion carried that the peti tion as presented and signed by Elwin Spangler and others, pro perty owners of the Ave. B (Cemetery Road) area in pro test of proposed street improve ments for that area be referred to the City Attorney for check ing of signatures. A resolution was adopted awarding the contract for con struction of street improvements of St. Imp. Dists. Motion was made by Borneme ier and seconded by Vogt to pay bills, approved. Mr. Ferguson expressed his appreciation for the bus which was rented and paid for by school boosters. Mr. Ferguson also wanted to thank those who drove cars. Chet Bornemeier paid a good compliment to our student body. Moved ana seconded that we adjourn, carried.
