Work followed a 13-7 snocker last Friday night, Falls City winning there. Almost as shocking was a 19-0 win by Weeping Water over Pa pillion. The victory itself wasn't too surprising since Weeping Water is unbeaten and has one of its better teams. But, the whitewash of a good Papllllon team surprised. The Blue Devils were out gained, 3U yards to 151; 64 of the Plattsmouth yards came on its scoring play. Falls City tallied in the sec ond, third and fourth periods on drives of 52, 33 and 20 yards. The last two scores were set up by a Plattsmouth fumble and a pass-interference penalty. Plattsmouth, Its offense sput tery and hurting from the ab sence of regular center Don Lebens who was ill and unable to play, was shut out until only 58 seconds remained. Then, Leland Prltchard hit Dave Nettelmann at the line of scrimmage with a screen pass and Nettelmann went all the way behind some good blocking that got him out front near the sideline. That was an a good following of Blue Devil fans had to shout about. Falls City ran too well and got too-tenacious defensive play from End Otis Major, Tackle Lawrence Kirkendall and their mates for Plattsmouth ever to be a threat. Plattsmouth is now 3-3, Falls City 2-4 for the season.
