Maria was ten, Kevin was five. Guests were the grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bower, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pol lard and family also Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bower, Jennie Sue and Matthew, and Mr. and Mrs. Ron. aid Grebe and Russell of Lin coln. Mrs. Pollard brought two beautifully decorated cakes which was served with ice cream. Harry Rohrer of Winnetoon came Thursday for a visit with his sister Mrs. Art Box, Mr. Box and Milton. The group went to Sioux City Sunday to visit an other brother Henry Rohrer of O'Neill in a hospital there who suffered a broken thigh three weeks ago. Saturday evening guests at the Dwight Beetison home were Mr. and Mrs. Les Gallion and family of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith and Larry Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kerst re turned to their home in Alliance for a week, Mrs. Kerst will come again to assist at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Rau. Callers there have been Mr. and Mrs. Paul Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Roeber, Mrs. Don Rau, Kathy and Rusty and Fred Schroeder. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rau, Russell and Charles brought a prepared din ner and ate with Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Rau. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Peterson, after the South Bend-Ashland football game, Friday evening were Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Turner, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gaines and Katherine, Carolyn Ritchie and Mrs. Ralph Ralkes and Jeff. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kupke took Mrs. Kupke's sister Miss Anna Lau, to her home in Plattsmouth Sunday afternoon. Miss Lau had been visiting her mother, Mrs. Mary Lau in Murdock. Mr. and Mrs. Kupke spent the evening with Mr. and Mrs. George Kraft in Manley. Uim Sturm brought his moth er, Mrs. Melvin Sturm home Wednesday forenoon. She had been helping her sons family move and get settled in their new home in Wayne. Afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sturm were Mrs. Ann Marshall and son Bob of Denver. The Marshall's were former Nehawka residents and have been visiting in Ne braska. Mrs. Howard Hanger of Ed monds, Wash., Debbie Leaver of Missoula, Montana and Mrs. Roy Leaver were Tuesday afternoon visitors at the John Fox home. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Farmer, Bob and Bill were Saturday sup per guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Gilmore in Council Bluffs. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Williams and Brad of Logan, Iowa and Guy Stickney of Waverly were Tuesday visitors at the Fred Stickney home. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sibert and family spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patterson in Hastings. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Peterson attended the Golden Wedding reception for Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hightshoe at the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hight shoe Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Moore and Dewey W. were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. Moore's sister, Mrs. Roy Ronnie and Mr. Ronnie, in Plattsmouth,.
