They moved Saturday Elmer Kepler had his arm severely bruise Monday while working in the quarry when it was caught in a pulley. He had several stitches in his arm and was hospitalized at Pawnee City hospital for several days near where the accident took place. His watch was shattered in a thousand pieces. He is at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hoback, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Carstcn re turned Tuesday from a 5.000 mile trip. ASHLAND Mrs. Ivan Armstrong Ph6ne 944-8136 Mr. and Mrs. Harry Farmer, Bob and Bill returned home Saturday evening from a two weeks Eastern trip. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Nelson arrived home Friday evening from a three weeks trip Into the Northwest. They visited people and places which included the World's Fair. In Washington State they visited Mrs. Arthur Jcffery and daughters also Mr. and Mrs. John Budd, Mrs. Budd was formerly Alice Buell. These people were all formerly South Ashland residents. While in that state they visited the Carey sis ters, their former home was In North Ashland vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Eli Gaudreault have had a weeks vacation with relatives and sight seeing. At Walthill they visited Mrs. Gaud reault's relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brothers and at Sioux City with Mr. and Mrs. Harold White. They went to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Hud delstons accompanied them to Pickstown, S. Dakota and to many other interesting places. Miss Bonnie Schwab of Gar den City, Michigan and Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Beetison and Kim were guests at dinner Wednes day evening at the Dwight Bee tison home, they were observ ing the third wedding anniver sary of Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Beetison. Mr. and Mrs. Jack White and Paul Carrier joined them later in the evening. Ice cream and cake was served then. Fred Stander of Denver, Colo, has been visiting relatives here. On August 15 he honored his brother Carl on his birthday by taking Mr. and Mrs. Carl, Stan der, Mrs. Mary Stander and Bill and Lena Stander out to dinner at the Holliday Inn In Lincoln. Mrs. A. W. Rau was reminded of her birthday Aug. 14 when several relatives and friends came for the day.
