Clara Williams had been caring for her for several months in her home. Mrs. Alvin Klemme is caring for her sisters two small chil dren while their parents are away on Yafcatiom. Also visiting her is her si-iteY7 from Ithaca. Kfrs. Falls (Pa.1 News-Tribune were the Otto Buck Jr. family of Colorado Springs, Colo., John Buck, Jr. family of York and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Buck of Elgin, 111. Mrs. Buck was buried Thursday afternoon. Her death followed a long illness. Mrs. Albert Bornemeier from Auburn and daughter Carol Arn old and baby from California were callers at the Carl Richert home Thursday afternoon. Little Teddy Harms' is here from Chicago visiting his grand parents, the Lacy McDonalds and his grandmother Harms in Manley. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Race, Linda, Pam and Peggy are spending a week in Colorado. They will see the Bud Amgwerts In Ft. Collins as well as other friends. . Allen -: Richert called home from Mololla, Ore., that a new son, David Allen, had arrived at their home June 29. They have a daughter, Linda Sue, 10. , Orris Richert spent the week end at Olathe, Kan., at the naval base. Orris is a member of the Naval Reserves. Barbara Zierott, George Mills, Randy and Sheryl of Stratton spent several days last week at tending 4-H camp at Seward. They report rain everv nicht but Ihey enjoyed it. Injuries Many From Accident WEEPING WATER (Special) The accident in which Roy Wade and his passengers, Jack Ward and two children, Diane and Tommy and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hollandsworth of Waba.sh which happened two miles west of Weeping Water was serious. Diane who is four suffered a broken collar bone and bruises. Tommy was bruised and suf fered from shock. Jack Ward suffered a deep laceration on his forehead which took the doctor an hour and forty-five minutes to sew up. Roy Wade went to the doctor for observation Monday morn ing. Mr. and Mrs. Hollandsworth are still in the hospital at Syra cuse. Mike had a broken shoulder bone, broken ribs, and bruises. Mrs. Hollansworth suffered from shock and bruises. Jack Ward was thrown against the windshield in the effort to protect his children from being thrown out of the pickup. They all "feel very lucky that no one was killed" as the Hol landsworth pickup was damaged and went over an embankment. BIRTH WEEPING WATER (Special) Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Miller, Jr. are parents of a boy born June 28. He, weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and has been named Matthew Scott. The baby was born at the St. Mary's Hospital, Nebraska City. Orvel Noell of Plattsmouth is maternal grand father. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stub bendeck of Unadilla and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Miller Sr. of In dependence, Kansas are the paternal grandparents. Mrs. W. J. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Miller and grandson Steve Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Miller and daughter of Ashland went to the Ozarks Saturday and returned home Tuesday. Mrs. Marion Kellogg and Mrs. Wilson Howe attended the Coun cil meeting for Extension Clubs at Weeping Water, Monday aft ernoon. The regular meeting of the Woman's Society of Christian Service was pos'poned from July 4 to July 11. Seventeen members and one visitor attended the meeting. The business meeting was conducted by the president, Mrs. Marion Kellogg, Mrs. Ken dall Dimmitt gave the lesson "Church and todays students". Mrs. Charles McKinney and Mrs. Arthur Skinner were hostesses. Betha Kosin was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Nobbe, last Sunday. Randy Nobbe. son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Nobbe fell from the bed this week and broke his col lar bone. Ricky had his arm taken from a cast from a break, recently. Mrs. Marion Kellogg took Mrs. Maude Keller, Mrs. Terry Cain, Mrs. Grace Copple, Mrs. Ben Muenchau and Mrs. Elmer Haas and Mrs. A. B. Stroemer took Mrs. Joe Vickers, Mrs. Glenn Dimmitt and Mrs. Archie Miller in her car to Elmwood, Friday evening to attend the meeting of the Woman's Society of Christian Service. A guest speaker talked. Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Cain of Omaha visited t h e Worship Service at church Sunday morn ing. Their son Terry Cain is the minister for the summer months. Merry Ann Kinney and Ann Walla were Candlelighters, Mrs. Boyd Edwards, soloist and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Miller were greeters. Mrs. Mabelle Elliott 'had "a dinner at her home Saturday evening for her daughters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Doran and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Halvorsen of Eagle. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Doran with their family are moving to Minnesota, they left Sunday. They made their home in Alvo at one time and then moved to Eagle. Mr. Doran has been with Laune Chevrolet at Ashland for a num ber of years. Earl Dreamer had surgery at Syracuse Hospital Friday. Ralph and boys, Terrel and Chip vis ited him Sunday afternoon, Mrs. Ralph Dreamer and Mrs. Earl Dreamer visited Sunday evening with him at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Mickle were at Shenandoah, Iowa, Sun day to Earl May's Open House for Field Day on trial ground. Mr. and Mrs. James Vineyard and daughter Becky visited the past week with Mrs. Vineyard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hendrickson. They left for their home at Fordyce, Arkansas Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Ayers and Kent visited at the Clyde Hendrickson home Saturday eve ning. Members of the Hendrickson family visiting them, Sunday were. Mr. and Mrs v. v. Mrs. McKinney is a niece of Mr. Skinner. They drove to Om aha sightseeing. Mrs. McKinney lived at Alvo and attended school at Alvo until her Senior Year, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Skinner. She left with her family for Oregon 24 years ago. To close their tour, Mrs. Spangler and Mrs. Riehter took the boys and went to Steinhart Park to swim and have a picnic.
