WE CIVE S & H CREEN STAMPS I mm ARE YOU CONFUSED ABOUT ROOM AIR CONDITIONER CAPACITIES! CAN YOU BE SURE YOU WILL GET THE COOLING CAPACITY YOU ARE PAYING FOR? YOU CAN! Now the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) is CERTIFYING the accuracy of the cooling capacity of most brands of room air conditioners. The National Better Business Bureau says the terms "Horsepower" and "Tons" are too vague to be used as measurements of cooling capa city and supports the NEMA program. In 1962, companies marketing 90 of all room air conditioners have chosen to participate in this program. For these companies, NEMA certifies that BTU ratings are accurate. "Certified by NEMA" means much more than "Rated" alone! LOOK FOR THE SEAL! Don't take our word! For a unit to be certified, the seal must be permanent ly fastened to each and every unit and normally will be a part of the chassis nameplate. Other ratings ' may be as much as 50 higher! Many units carry no nameplate rating at all! Don't be misled! Let us help you determine which model will be adequate for your needs and be assured that the Air Conditioner you purchase will do the task you want it to. Use this Certified Rating as a guide in making your purchase. For full details, ask to see our NEMA Certification Charts covering all current production models.
