She is hos pitalized at the present at St Mary's in Nebraska City. Mrs. Lewis Mougey and Mrs. L. G. Todd called on Mrs. Opal Moritz and sister, Mrs. Lila Sim mons Guild of Denver, Wednes day afternoon. Mrs. Guild is a former Union resident and has many friends in this community. G Todd. A surprise housewarming was given Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Todd Sr. last Saturday evening by a group of their friends. The Todds moved into their new home re cently. ATTEND BAND CONCERT LOUISVILLE (Special) The pupils of Pleasant Ridge School District 41 and their teacher, Mrs. Esther Stohlmann, attend ed the Buena Vista College Band Concert at the Louisville High School Auditorium Thursday aft ernoon, April 12 and later toured the Public Library. The Band group and their di rector, Bill Green, are from Storm Lake, Iowa. Mr. Green is well known in Louisville for his band work and is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Maurice Group of Louisville. Mr. and Mrs. Cox Injured LOUISVILLE (Special) Mr. and Mrs. George Dolan and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Nichols received word that Mrs. Dolan and Mr. Nichols' niece, Mrs. Larry Cox and Mr. Cox were critically in jured in a car accident last Tuesday evening near Lawr ence, Kansas. Mrs. Cox is the former Alice Lundteigen, dau ghter of Andrew Lundteigen of Kansas City, Mo., and the, late Vollne Nichols Lundteigen. Mr. Cox received severe facial cuts which will require plastic surgery and Mrs. Cox, an ex pectant mother, remains on the critical list with broken ribs and a punctured lung. A tracheot omy was performed to relieve the latter condition. Mrs. Cox is a patient at the Memorial Hospital in Lawrence, Kan. ANNOUNCEMENT ! William Heebner fractured the cartilage in his knee and has been confined to his home for a week.
